How to Get the Android Phone on a TV Screen
A number of Android smartphones, including the HTC EVO 4G and Motorola Droid X2, possess an HDMI output port that allows you to connect your device to your television. Once connected, you can view the videos and photos that are stored on your device on your television screen. So long as your Android smartphone has an HDMI output port, you can view your Android device on your television in a few steps.
Things You'll Need
- HDMI Micro to standard HDMI cable
Plug the HDMI Micro end of your HDMI cable into the HDMI Micro port on the side of your Android device. The HDMI Micro port is labeled with the HDMI logo.
Plug the standard HDMI end of your HDMI cable into the HDMI port on the back of your television.
Turn on your television and select the HDMI output that you connected your phone.
Tap the "Gallery" application icon on the Android device's home screen to launch the gallery.
Tap the video or image that you want to view on the television.
