How to Hide Your Media Player on Gaia

The Gaia Online social networking site lets you can connect with other people, as well as share videos, music and play games. After signing up for Gaia Online, you will need to create a profile and an avatar. Your profile can be personalized in a number of ways, including customizing the media player. Add songs and videos to your profile page through the media player tool. You can also tweak the site's design code to hide the media player and make more room for other items on your profile.

Step 1

Log in to your Gaia Online account. Hover your cursor over the **My Gaia** link on the home page, and then click **Profile** to pull up your profile.

Step 2

Click the **Edit My Profile Layout** link in the upper right-hand corner of the profile page. Click the **Theme** tab from the View Profile box to open a new window.

Step 3

Click the **CSS** tab. Paste the following code into the CSS box if you have the new profile style: .media_panel { visibility: hidden; height: 0px; }Paste the following code in your CSS box if you have the old profile style: #multimedia { visibility: hidden; height: 0px; }

Step 4

Click **Update** to save the CSS and exit the Theme box. Click the **Save** button in the View Profile box to save all changes. The media player should now be hidden on your profile page.
