How to Hook Up My Samsung LCD TV to My Computer Wirelessly

Samsung LCD TVs support wireless connectivity so you can hook up your TV to your PC to stream digital videos and photos right to your TVs screen. Samsung LCD TVs are DLNA or digital living network alliance certified, which means it is designed to work with wireless equipment from a variety of different manufacturers. Use the Internet settings of your TV to hook it up wirelessly to your computer.

  • Home wireless network

Step 1

Turn on your Samsung LCD TV and press the "Menu" button. Highlight the "Network" option and press "Enter."

Step 2

Highlight the "Network Settings" option and press "Enter." Scroll to the "Wireless" option and press "Enter." Highlight the name of your wireless network in the list of available networks and press "Enter." Use the on-screen keyboard to enter the password for the network and press "Enter." The "Internet Connection Successful" message appears once you are connected to the network.

Step 3

Visit the Samsung AllShare downloads page on your computer and click the "All Share PC Download" link. Click the "Run" button in the prompt that appears and click "OK" to install the AllShare PC software to your computer. Open the "AllShare" software once the installation is complete.

Step 4

Click the "Tools" button on the menu bar and click "Settings." Click the "Access" tab. Click the check box next to the "TV" entry to allow your TV to access files on your computer.

Step 5

Press the "Menu" button again on your TV. Scroll to the "Network" setting and press "Enter." Highlight the "AllShare" option and press "Enter." Highlight the "Computer" entry in the list of located devices and press "Enter" to allow the computer to send files to the TV.
