How to Insert Yearly Calendars with Microsoft Word 2007

By Sam Foner

Microsoft Word is a word processing application first release by Microsoft in 1989 as part of the Office suite of programs. In Word, you can choose from many built-in document templates or download customized templates online. To create a yearly calendar, you can use one of the preset calendar templates provided by Word 2007, or download a number of different calendar templates from the Office website.

Step 1

Click on "File" from the menu at the top, then "New," then choose "Calendars" under Microsoft Office Online. Here, you will see a list of available calendar templates to use.

Step 2

Select the calendar template you want to use, then click "Download" to open that template in Word.

Step 3

Customize the calendar you have selected by using standard Word 2007 tools like Insert, Format, and so on. You can change the size and shape of boxes, insert text, and add graphics to the calendar.
