Adobe Photoshop can automate a series of commands, such as photo resizing and color adjusting, through Actions. When made, Actions are saved on the hard drive as ATN files, ready for distribution to other PCs. Installing an ATN file simply requires loading the file through the "Actions" bar within Photoshop.

Loading the ATN File
Before beginning installation, make sure you know the precise location of the ATN file. For organization and ease, you may wish to save the ATN to the default Actions folder, which is in the "presets\Photoshop actions" folder of the Photoshop installation path. This default path is on C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop CS" on PCs, while on Macs the file is found on the hard drive at "Applications\Adobe Photoshop CS6." Once you know the location of the file, open Photoshop and click on the arrow in the upper-right corner of the Actions bar. Select the "Load" option from the menu that appears, and find your ATN file. This causes the action set to appear in your Action list.
