How to Install New Paper on My Canon P23-DH V (Portable Printing Calculator)

By Ryan Maxwell

The Canon P23-DH V portable printing calculator features an extra-large liquid crystal display and a two-color ink roller printer that prints positive numbers in purple and negative numbers in red. The calculator also has a built-in clock and calendar function, time calculation capability and useful tax calculation features. The P23-DH V uses a standard plain paper roll measuring 2 ¼ inches wide. The paper is fed through the back of the calculator.

Things You'll Need

  • Scissors

Step 1

Raise the paper roller arm.

Step 2

Peel the edge of the paper roll upward and cut the end at a slight angle. The degree of the angle is not important; the purpose of the angle is merely to simplify the task of feeding the paper through the calculator and helping to avoid a paper jam.

Step 3

Slide the paper roll onto the roller arm. Position the roll so the end of the paper at the top of the roll faces away from the printer and feeds into the calculator from the underside of the roll.

Step 4

Insert the end of the paper roll into the feed slot in the back of the calculator.

Step 5

Press and hold the "Feed" button on the upper left side of the keypad until the paper comes through the output slot.
