How to Install Nimbuzz

Nimbuzz is a free instant messaging application that allows you to use one program to connect with friends on various networks, including Windows Live Messenger, Yahoo! and AIM. Using Nimbuzz, you can also initiate voice chats with the people on your buddy list. In addition to these free features, Nimbuzz also allows you to purchase credits to use the application to make telephone calls at reduced rates. To try Nimbuzz, download the application from the official website.

Step 1

Open a Web browser, and navigate to Click the "Get Nimbuzz!" button in the middle of the page.

Step 2

Click the "PC/Mac" tab at the top of the page.

Step 3

Click the "Download!" button on the right side of the page and save the file "InstallNimbuzz.exe" to the desktop.

Step 4

Double-click the file "InstallNimbuzz.exe" when the download is complete.

Step 5

Click the drop-down menu under "Please Select a Language," and then click the language that you would like to use for the Nimbuzz installation process. Click "OK."

Step 6

Click the "Advanced Install" radio button to customize the settings used during the Nimbuzz installation process.

Step 7

Click the "I Agree to the License Below" check box.

Step 8

Click "Next."

Step 9

Click the "Autorun on Windows Startup" box if you would like Nimbuzz to start automatically when Windows loads.

Step 10

Click the "Create Desktop Icon" box if you would like to create a shortcut for Nimbuzz on the desktop.

Step 11

Click the "Run After Installation" box to launch Nimbuzz automatically when the installation process is complete.

Step 12

Click the "Browse" button to choose a folder on your computer to install Nimbuzz in. Alternatively, do not click the button to use the default folder of "C:\Program Files\Nimbuzz."

Step 13

Click the "Install" button to install Nimbuzz using the settings that you entered. A progress bar at the top of the window shows the approximate amount of time remaining in the install procedure.

Step 14

Click "Finish" when the Nimbuzz installation process is finished.
