How to Install the Google Toolbar in Internet Explorer

The Google Toolbar is a utility that allows you to search the Web, organize your favorites and bookmarks, translate Web pages and access Gmail and many other features from a single toolbar in Internet Explorer. It works great with Windows XP, Vista and 7 and installing this free software is very easy to accomplish.

Step 1

Open Internet Explorer.

Step 2

Navigate to the Google Toolbar homepage, found in "References."

Step 3

Click the "Install Google Toolbar" button.

Step 4

Click "Accept and Download."

Step 5

Click "Run" in the "File Download" pop-up.
