How to Make a Laptop Internet Router

The purpose of an Internet router is to allow multiple computer users share a single network connection and create a local area network, or LAN. If you do not have an Ethernet or wireless router, you can turn your laptop into one. When you make your laptop into an Internet router, the laptop shares its network connection with other nearby systems and assigns them each a unique IP address.
