How to Make a Yahoo Mail Group Contact List

By Rex Molder

Occasionally you might want to send an email to multiple recipients. If the list of recipients is large, entering their addresses into the email message can be time consuming, even when using your address book. If you have groups of people to whom you often send messages, you can configure a group in Yahoo Mail by adding a category. To send a message to all members of the group, you can use the category to address all members of the group.

Step 1

Log in to your Yahoo mail account.

Step 2

Click "Contacts" on the left side of the screen to open the Contacts window.

Step 3

Click the "Add Category" button at the top of the page.

Step 4

Enter the name you want to use for the group and click "Save."

Step 5

Click the "Add Contacts" link near the top of the right window pane.

Step 6

Click the box to the left of the contacts you want to add to the group and click "Add Selected."

Step 7

View the members of the group by clicking the "View" drop-down menu at the top of the Contacts window and selecting the group's name.
