How to Make Changes to a Web Page
Websites must be changed regularly to keep up with trends, new products or services, and to keep attracting traffic for the long term. These changes can be graphic or textual. Open the control panel page of your website. This control panel should list the page files, include a folder with images in it, and also include folders for site add-ons such as blogs, forums, or ecommerce shops. Select the specific page file you wish to change and click "Edit" next to its title. If you do not have the graphics saved on your hard drive, you can right-click on them on your website and select "Save As" to get them there. The easiest way to edit graphics within the existing website template is to save them, edit them by changing their color of style in a software program, and re-upload them to the hosting account file control panel.
Make changes to a web page template only if you have some knowledge of HTML and CSS web design coding. CSS (cascading style sheet) files can be edited in any text program such as Notepad. You can easily change the color of backgrounds, text, headings, and borders by changing the six-digit codes for the colors.
