How to Make Text Size Bigger on Web Pages
The text displayed on the web pages you visit across the Internet can be enlarged to allow for easier viewing. This is done by changing the settings in the web browser you use. These settings can be changed at any time to increase or decrease the size of the text on any page you are viewing. Images located on these web pages will not increase as you make the text size bigger.
Click "Start" on the Windows taskbar. Click "All Programs" in the menu that appears. Locate and click "Internet Explorer" in the list of programs.
Click the "Page" button on the Internet Explorer command bar. Highlight "Text Size" in the drop-down menu by moving your cursor over the button.
Select your preferred text size from the list of options. The default text size is listed as "Medium" in this menu. Choose "Larger" or "Largest" to make the text on web pages bigger.
Open the Firefox browser from your desktop or "Start" menu. Click on the "View" button that appears near the top of the Firefox window.
Highlight the "Zoom" option with your cursor. Click on "Zoom Text Only" in the sub-menu that appears.

Launch the Google Chrome browser from your computer's desktop. Locate and click the icon displaying the image of a wrench in the top-right corner of the Chrome window.
Move your cursor over the "+" icon next to the "Zoom" option. Click the "+" icon to make the text on web pages bigger.
Click the wrench-shaped icon once again to close the menu. Your settings in Chrome will now be changed to display web page text in the size you have specified.
Launch Safari and allow the browser window to open. Click the "View" button on the Safari menu bar.
Click "Zoom Text Only" to ensure that only the text size on web pages is increased. Hold down the "Cmd" key and hit the "+" key to make the text larger.
Let go of the "Cmd" key once you have set the text to your preferred size. Safari will save this setting and zoom in to make web page text appear larger on your screen.
