How to Make Tickets in Microsoft Word

Business and individuals use tickets for a number of reasons, including raffles and for entry to events. You can create professional-looking tickets in Microsoft Word with a number of templates. Each one is suited to different uses, ensuring you can find a template that suits your needs. Making ticket in Word costs a lot less than buying rolls of tickets from a store or having them created by a professional printer.

Step 1

Open Microsoft Word. Click the "File" tab at the top of the page and select "New."

Step 2

Type "tickets" in the text box in the "Office.com Templates" section. Word will go to the Office website if you are connect to the Internet. If not, Word will prompt you to connect manually.

Step 3

Look through the search results and select the ticket template that appeals to you and suits your needs. Click the "Download" button. Word will open a new document with the ticket templates.

Step 4

Modify the wording of the tickets as necessary. Click on each section you want to change and type in the information you want to include on the tickets. This may include the date, time and the name of the event.

Step 5

Save the tickets by clicking the floppy disk icon. Type the name of the document and click "Save."
