How to Make Words Appear in Powerpoint by Clicking a Button
Adding animation to your PowerPoint is a great way to customize your presentation. It is also quite useful when you wish to talk about topics one section at a time, rather than allowing your audience to read your entire PowerPoint slide while you are still talking about the first section of the slide. In order to make words appear in PowerPoint by clicking a button, simply select the text box containing the words and apply a "Preset Animation" to them.
Things You'll Need
- Microsoft PowerPoint
Open PowerPoint and load your PowerPoint presentation.
Go to the slide that you would like to make words appear in by clicking a button.
Select the text box containing the words you would like to make appear by clicking a button.
Click "Slide Show" and select "Preset Animations."
Choose "Appear" from the list of "Preset Animations."
Click "View" and select "Slide Show."
When you reach the slide that you added animation to, press the spacebar on your computer or click the button on your mouse to make the words appear.
Save your PowerPoint presentation when finished. You have now successfully made words appear in PowerPoint by clicking a button (See References 1).
