How to Make Yahoo My Home Page Service

When you sign up for a free Yahoo account, Yahoo offers you a My Yahoo page service. My Yahoo allows you to customize the information displayed on the page, including news, weather, email messages, stocks and Twitter activity. You can set your Internet browser so that My Yahoo is your home page, making it display this page each time you open the browser or when you click the browser's "Home" button.

Firefox

Step 1

Launch the Firefox Internet browser.

Step 2

Navigate to the My Yahoo page and log in to your Yahoo account. Once logged in, you will return to your My Yahoo page.

Step 3

Click the orange "Firefox" button in the top left corner.

Step 4

Click "Options," then "Options" again to view the Internet options for the browser.

Step 5

Navigate to the "General" tab, click "Use Current Pages," then click "OK." This will set My Yahoo as your home page service.

Internet Explorer

Step 1

Launch the Internet Explorer browser.

Step 2

Navigate to the My Yahoo page and log in to your Yahoo! account.

Step 3

Click the "Tools" button, then click "Internet options."

Step 4

Navigate to the "General" tab, click "Use current," then click "OK." This will set My Yahoo as your home page service.

Chrome

Step 1

Launch the Google Chrome browser.

Step 2

Navigate to the My Yahoo page and log in to your Yahoo account.

Step 3

Click the wrench icon in the top right corner of the toolbar.

Step 4

Click "Options" and a new browser tab will open.

Step 5

Place a mark next to "Open the following pages," then click "Use Current Pages." This will add My Yahoo in the text box and set it as your home page service.
