How to Mass Text on an iPhone
Sometimes you just don't want to repeat yourself. This is even true in the world of texting. Your iPhone makes it possible to text what you want to say only once, and let many people from your contact list see it at the same time with mass texting, also called group messaging. You can choose to mass text to two or three people, or to several at once.
Tap the "Messages" icon from the Home screen on your iPhone.
Tap the icon that resembles a notepad at the top right of your screen to compose a New Message.
Tap the "+" icon to the right of the recipient box to open your contact list.
Tap the name of the first contact you wish to include. You will be brought back to the New Message screen, with the name of that contact in the recipient box.
Tap the recipient box to make the "+" icon appear again and then tap the "+" icon.
Repeat this process until you have included all recipients you wish to add.
Type your message into the text box near the center of the New Message screen.
Tap the "Send" button to the right of the text box to send your message.
Tips & Warnings
- Any replies to your mass text will only come to you. Other recipients of your mass text will not see them.
