The Windows Taskbar is usually displayed on the bottom of your Windows desktop screen and is often used as the starting point for opening programs and monitoring non-active ones. The Taskbar has the ability to be hidden, locked and moved, and can be placed on all four sides of your desktop monitor screen. If your Windows Taskbar has been moved from the bottom of the screen and you would like to return it there, you can do so in a few easy steps.
Right-click on an empty area on your Windows Taskbar. On the menu look for “Lock the Taskbar.” If that option is checked, click to uncheck it.
Click on an empty space on the Taskbar. Hold down your mouse button at the same time to drag the Taskbar to the bottom of the screen.
Right-click on an empty area of the Taskbar and select "Lock the Taskbar" to lock it again.
