How to Print Labels From an Excel Spreadsheet

By Emmanuelle Douglas

Labels can be printed from a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet by using the Excel templates in the template gallery. The template gallery is located in the "New" option on the "Office" button. Excel templates can be downloaded directly into Excel. Once downloaded, you can customize the labels by adding your own information. When you have added all of your information, save the labels and print them. By saving them, you can reuse this label sheet at a later time.

Step 1

Open Excel 2007 and select the "Office" button. Click "New." Select "Labels" from the left task pane. Select "Mailing and Shipping." Select "Business." Select the label template and click "Download."

Step 2

Add your data to the template by typing over the default template data. Save your changes by clicking the "Office" button and clicking "Save."

Step 3

Print the labels by clicking the "Office" button and "Print." Be sure to have your label paper ready so the labels can print properly.
