How to Print Note Comments in PDF Format

Portable Document Format (PDF) files that are used as working documents for others to make notes on using the "Comment" function are common in the business world. These comments are easily added and edited by associates working to finalize a document. If they become too abundant, or if they might be more easily viewed separate pages, the notes can be printed to a PDF document by following a few simple steps.

Things You'll Need

  • PDF writing program (e.g. Adobe Acrobat Pro)

Step 1

Launch your PDF writing program. In this example, Adobe Acrobat Pro is used.

Step 2

Launch the PDF document that contains the notes that you want to print to PDF.

Step 3

Click once on the "Comments" drop down menu, once on "Comment View" and then select the "Show Comments List" option. A split in the PDF screen will generate, and a visual list of the comments will be viewable at the bottom of the screen.

Step 4

Click once on the "Print Comments" drop down menu to the right of the comments list at the bottom of the screen and select the "Create PDF of Comments Summary" option.

Step 5

Click once on the "Create PDF Comment Summary" button on the "Summarize Options" window. There are several print options available on this window, including the opportunity to change the print size, layout and paper size.

Step 6

View the PDF comment summary, which will automatically launch in a new window.
