How to Properly Send An Email On An iPad
With the new iPad by Apple, users can access email, browse the web, play music, watch videos and much more. To properly activate email on the device, you must use an existing account to set up access. The iPad supports email services such as Microsoft Exchange, Yahoo Mail, Google email, AOL and others. Sending and receiving email through the device is the same as when you use a computer. Users can attach documents and images.
Hit "Settings" from the home screen on the device.
Hit "Mail, Contacts, Calendars" and then hit "Add Account."
Choose an account type by tapping one of the options. (For example, if Gmail is desired, select it from the list and tap the icon)
Enter account information and then hit "Save."
Select additional settings to use on the device. You can use items such as mail, contacts, calendars, and bookmarks.
Hit the "Email" icon at the top of the home screen.
Tap the plus sign icon to add a name from the contact list. A name can also be typed in manually.
Complete the subject of the message and hit "Send" to complete the email.

- Once the email account is set up for the first time, you won't have to go through the process again unless you choose to set up more than one account.
