How to Put a Video on the iPad

Whether you're sitting in a waiting room or taking a long flight, the iPad's high-definition, 9.7-inch screen can provide hours of entertainment. You can sync your videos onto your iPad from iTunes the same way that you would with your music, apps or e-books.
Connect your iPad to your computer. Open iTunes.
Click your iPad under "Devices."
Click the "Movies" tab above the information displayed in the center pane. Check the box next to "Sync Movies," and then check the boxes next to the movies you want to put on your iPad. Use the capacity bar at the bottom of the iTunes screen to determine how many movies will fit on the device.
Click the "TV Shows" tab. Check the box next to "Sync TV Shows," and then check the boxes next to any shows you want to put on your iPad.
Click the "Music" tab. Check the box next to "Sync Music Videos" if you want to put any music videos on your iPad.
Click "Apply" in the lower-right corner when you have finished configuring your settings.
