How to Put Music on a Naxa MP3 Player

By Andrew Smith

Naxa Electronics manufactures and sells several different types of mp3 players. These mp3 players are less expensive than similar "big name" portable media players (such as iPods) and are perfect for the person who simply want to listen to her favorite music while on the go. Unlike iPods, there is no iTunes or other software program made specifically for Naxa mp3 players. But by using Windows Media Player, you can easily put music on a Naxa mp3 player.

Step 1

Start off by putting a battery in you Naxa mp3 player. This is necessary in order to add music to a Naxa mp3 player. Naxa mp3 players require one AAA battery and this battery goes into the back of the device.

Step 2

Plug your Naxa mp3 player into your computer. To do this, take the cap off of the bottom of the player. You will then be able to plug the Naxa mp3 player directly into a USB port on your computer.

Step 3

Open Windows Media Player and then click the "Sync" tab found at the very top of the program. Once you do, you will notice that the Naxa mp3 player is listed in the top right corner of Windows Media Player.

Step 4

Double-click the "Library" link on the left side of Windows Media Player. Once you do, several different options will appear underneath "Library."

Step 5

Click the "Songs" option found below "Library." Once you do, a list of all of the songs in your Windows Media library will appear in the middle of the program.

Step 6

Browse through all of the songs in your library and right click over any song you want to add to your Naxa mp3 player. After you right click on a song, you will need to select "Add to Sync List." You will then see the song listed in the column on the far right side of Windows Media Player. Continue doing this until you are finished putting music on the Naxa mp3 player.

Step 7

Click the "Start Sync" button located underneath the list of music you selected in Step 7. The music will then be added to the Naxa mp3 player.
