How to Put Music on an MP3 Player From YouTube

By Andrew Smith

Music fans have the ability to watch both official music videos and live music performances on YouTube. Often, a person might find a video on YouTube and might wish to add it to a portable music player (mp3 player). In order to put music or any other audio from YouTube onto an mp3 player, it's essential to convert the video file into an mp3 file. Downloading an easy-to-use software program will allow a music lover to convert the file and then put the music onto an mp3 player.

Things You'll Need

  • Vixy converter
  • Windows Media Player

Step 1

Go to the Vixy homepage and click the "Download" link on the right side of the screen in order to download and install the Vixy Converter. The link you will click will be determined by the operating system on your computer.

Open Vixy Converter.

Step 4

Paste the YouTube URL into the text box found at the top of Vixy Converter.

Click the "Sync" button. The mp3 player you plugged in will be listed on the right side of Windows Media Player. Beneath the mp3 player icon will be the "Sync List" and the list will be empty.
