How to Put Pics on My Facebook From My iPhone

By Tyson Cliffton

There's no need to wait until you get home to upload photos from your iPhone to Facebook. If you have the Facebook app, you can load the photos almost instantly. Add the photos to an existing photo album on Facebook or create a new photo album. The photos show up immediately so friends and family can share in your experiences.

Step 1

Tap the Facebook app on your iPhone.

Step 2

Tap the small box in the upper-left corner of the app window that contains nine small squares to return to the Facebook home screen if you are not already there.

Step 3

Tap "Photos." A list of photo albums you've previously created on Facebook appears.

Step 4

Tap an existing photo album to add a photo from your phone to that photo album, or create a new album by tapping the plus sign in the upper-right corner of the app window containing the list of photo albums. If you are creating a new album, you enter the "New Album" screen. Tap "Name" to enter a name for the photo album. Tap "Location" to enter a specific location associated with the album, and tap "Description" to enter a description of this photo album. Tap "Create" when you are done setting up the album. The new or existing photo album opens up.

Step 5

Tap the camera icon in the upper-right corner of the app window, and then tap "Choose From Library." A list of photo albums on your iPhone appears.

Step 6

Tap the photo album containing the photo you want to add to Facebook and then tap the photo you want to add.

Step 7

Tap "Upload" in the lower-right corner of the photo window. A blue progress bar appears at the bottom of the screen and the photo uploads to Facebook. After the photo uploads, you return to the album screen containing the photo in the Facebook app.
