How to Recover iPhone Apps

By Todd Bowerman

Apple's iPhone can be used for video games, news, social networking and many other purposes thanks to its enormous application library. Each application, or "app," is designed to fill a specific function on the phone. If you have recently lost your iPhone apps due to a damaged phone or some other catastrophe, you can recover anything you purchased on the iTunes store by synchronizing your phone with your iTunes account.

Things You'll Need

  • USB cable

Step 1

Download and install the latest version of iTunes. Open iTunes once it has been installed.

Step 2

Log in to your iTunes account. To do this, simply click "iTunes Store" on the left-hand navigation pane and enter you login information.

Step 3

Connect your iPhone to the computer using the iPhone's USB sync cable. The iTunes software should automatically detect your iPhone.

Step 4

Synchronize the iPhone to automatically restore all iTunes purchases. This should restore all of your apps, music and movies purchased on your iTunes account.
