How to Refill a Go Phone

The AT&T Go Phone is a prepaid cellular telephone which can be topped up or refilled with minutes as and when the user needs them. This kind of phone eliminates the need for a contract and does not require a credit check to purchase. To refill a Go Phone, the user must either have a credit card or have purchased a refill card from an authorized retailer. Minutes can then be added online or from your Go Phone by dialing 611.

Things You'll Need

Online

Step 1

Go to the AT&T Go Phone refill website (see resources). Select the option that says "Refill Minutes Now".

Step 2

Enter your Go Phone telephone number, including the area code.

Step 3

Select whether you wish to add minutes using a prepaid refill card or credit card.

Step 4

Select the number of minutes that you wish to add.

Step 5

Enter your payment information. If using a prepaid refill card, scratch the silver strip off of the back of the card to reveal the card number and enter it into the box where prompted. If using a credit card, enter your credit card details and billing information.

Step 6

Click "Submit" to add minutes to your Go Phone.

By Phone

Step 1

From your Go Phone, dial 611. At the prompt, select the option to add minutes using a prepaid card or credit card.

Step 2

Select the number of minutes that you wish to add to your account.

Step 3

Select the option to use a prepaid refill card if necessary. Scratch the silver strip off of the back of the card and enter the card number at the prompt.

Step 4

If using a credit card, enter the credit card billing number and billing information, including ZIP code, when prompted.

Step 5

Wait until the confirmation of minutes added before hanging up.
