How to Register for MyHumana

The health insurance provider Humana gives its members access to an online resource to help them make choices and obtain information related to their health care. This resource, called MyHumana, allows you to view your benefits, locate health-care providers, check the status of claims, view health-care expenses, get cost estimates and set communication preferences for your account.

Things You'll Need

  • Humana ID Card

Step 1

Go to the MyHumana registration page (see Resources).

Step 2

Enter your member ID in the text box. You can find your member ID, sometimes also called a subscriber ID, on your Humana ID card. Enter the first nine characters only and do not include any spaces or hyphens. See Resources for examples of Humana ID cards.

Step 3

Enter the two-digit month, two-digit date and four-digit year of your birth in the text boxes.

Step 4

Enter your zip code and email address in the text boxes.

Step 5

Click “Next.” The website will search for your member information in the system and ask for your confirmation.

Step 6

Follow the onscreen instructions to select a user ID and password.
