How to Remove Likes & Interests on Facebook
When you first open a Facebook account, you'll be asked to complete a user profile that includes your likes and interests. This information displays in your Facebook profile page, and your friends and contacts can view the details. Facebook also uses this information to suggest relevant Facebook interest groups that you might want to join, and to help you find like-minded friends. Including likes and interests in your Facebook profile isn't compulsory, and you can delete them if you don't want people to see this information. You can remove your likes and interests from your Facebook profile by using the "Edit Profile" tool.
Open your computer's Web browser, and sign in to Facebook.
Click the "Profile" link in the main navigation menu.
Click the "Edit Profile" link under your name at the top of your profile page. This opens the "Basic Information" page in the "Edit Profile" section.
Read through the profile information sections in the left-hand menu. Your likes and interests appear in the "Activities and Interests," "Sports," "Arts and Entertainments" and "Philosophy" sections. You'll need to edit each of these sections to remove the information
Click the link for the section that you want to edit.
Click the "X" icon -- or in some sections the "Remove" button -- beside each of the likes and interests that you want to delete.
Click the "Save Changes" button at the bottom of each section to store your preferences. Repeat these steps for each of the sections containing the likes and activities that you want to remove.
