How to Reset a Samsung DLP TV
Samsung DLP TVs are rear-projection televisions with several picture and sound settings you can adjust to your preferences. You may decide after making adjustments to the picture and sound that you want to return them to the factory defaults. Samsung designed their DLP TVs with a separate factory reset for the picture and the sound settings. You also have separate factory reset functions within the picture and sound parameters.
Press the "Menu" button on the remote control to open the Samsung TV main menu.
Push the arrow buttons to highlight "Picture," which is the television icon, and then press "Enter."
Select "Mode" and then the picture mode you want to reset: "Dynamic," "Standard" or "Movie."
Press the up or down arrow buttons to highlight "Picture Reset" and press "Enter." The words "OK" and "Cancel" appear on screen.
Push the right or left arrow button to highlight "OK" and press "Enter."
Press "Return" to go back to the previous screen and repeat steps 3 through 5 to reset the other two picture settings. Push "Exit" to exit the television menu.
Push the "Menu" button and then select "Sound" from the menu. The "Sound" icon is an amplifier.
Select "Mode" and then "Standard," "Music," "Movie," "Speech" or "Custom" if you only want to reset the sound settings in one mode. Skip this step if you want to reset all of the sound modes at once.
Press the up or down arrow buttons to highlight "Sound Reset" and press "Enter."
Push the right or left arrow buttons to highlight "Reset All," if you want to reset all of the sound mode settings, or "Reset Sound Mode" if you want to reset the selected sound mode.
Press "Enter" to reset the sound settings on your Samsung DLP TV.
