How to Reset an LG Optimus

By Tyson Cliffton

Performing a factory reset on your LG Optimus smartphone erases all data on the device and restores it to the default factory settings. A reset is critical for removing all of your personal information from the device if you plan on selling it or passing it along to a friend or family member to use. Additionally, resetting the device to the default factory settings can also resolve some software issues that can't be resolved by other means.
