How to Reset the Parental Controls on a Time Warner Converter Box
Television viewing affects your child's behavior, according to the University of Michigan Health System, and can have a positive or negative influence, depending on what he watches. Time Warner cable offers a range of parental controls that allow you to direct your child's television viewing. Parental controls on the Time Warner converter box work by blocking channels according to a parent's settings to lock certain types of content, ratings, air times or names of specific shows, series or movies. A master control must be turned on for parental control settings to be effective. This allows a parent to turn off all controls at once and reset them when necessary.
