How to Reset the Password on Verizon Wireless
Verizon Wireless is a cell phone company that offers a variety of cell phones and calling plans. The Verizon Wireless website is a portal for customers to shop, view call and text message records, pay their bills and update personal information. Verizon Wireless users can also change their calling plans online. To utilize the website, users must first create a user name and password. If a Verizon Wireless customer forgets his password, the password can be reset online through a brief process designed to confirm the person changing the password is the account's owner.
Visit the Verizon Wireless website and click "My Verizon."
Click "Forgot Password."
Enter your Verizon Wireless telephone number and click "Continue."
Type your billing zip code and the last four digits of your social security number. Click "Continue."
Answer the security question presented on the screen. The question is one you created at the time of registration. The answer is case-sensitive. Click "Continue."
Enter your new password in the first box. Confirm the password in the second box. Your Verizon Wireless password must contain at least eight characters, including one letter and one number. No special characters are allowed. Your password may not exceed 20 characters. Click "Continue."
Enter your new password once more and click "Sign In" to enter the Verizon Wireless website.

- If you cannot remember the answer to your security question, you must call Verizon Wireless customer service to change your password. Verizon Wireless customer service can be reached by calling (800) 922-0204 from any phone, or *611 from a Verizon phone.
