How to Restore a Toshiba System

If your Toshiba system has become overthrown with a virus or other technical issue, you will most likely need to complete a system restore. Unlike most might think, completing a system restore on your Toshiba system doesn't require you to be a computer whiz. It is actually a task that almost anyone can complete easily. To restore your system you do not need to use your restoration or product installation CD.

Step 1

Turn off your Toshiba system.

Step 2

Restart your computer and press and hold down the 0 (zero) key while the computer is powering up.

Step 3

Click on "Recovery of Factory Default Software" once the "Toshiba Recovery Wizard" screen pops up. Click "Next."

Step 4

Select "Recover out-of-box state" and then click "Next."

Step 5

Press any key on your keyboard once the notification "HDD has been Recovered" pops up. This will restart your Toshiba system.
