How to Restore an AT&T Yahoo! Toolbar

The AT&T toolbar, also known as the Yahoo! toolbar, is an Internet browser plug-in for Firefox and Internet Explorer that enables you to easily access your favorite sites and applications by providing small icons at the top of your Internet browser. This free plug-in also has a search bar that enables easy web searching and uses the Yahoo! search engine, and recommends sites to you based on the relevance of the search subject. In addition to the default applications, you can also customize the toolbar by changing the search settings, apps and layout.

Restore AT&T Toolbar in Firefox

Step 1

Open your Firefox browser and go to the Yahoo! toolbar site.

Step 2

Click the "Download Now" button, and click the "I Agree" button.

Step 3

Click the "Allow" button that appears at the top of your Firefox browser, and click the "Install Now" button in the dialog box.

Step 4

Click the "Restart Firefox" button in the "Add-ons" window to restart the browser with the Yahoo! toolbar loaded.

Step 5

Click the "Settings" icon, which looks like a cog, to sign in to your Yahoo! account.

Restore AT&T Toolbar in Internet Explorer

Step 1

Open your Internet Explorer browser and go to the Yahoo! toolbar site.

Step 2

Click the "Download Now" button, and click the "Allow" button at the top of the screen to permit the download to begin.

Step 3

Restart your browser to view the Yahoo! Toolbar.
