How to Restore an HP Mini

By Nick Davis

Smaller than a laptop and geared toward wireless Internet access, Hewlett-Packard Mini netbooks arrive loaded with applications for accessing your email, the Internet, composing notes and viewing photos/videos. Like other HP laptops, the HP Mini also contains a recovery program, System Restore, that restores your laptop in case the computer won't start up or the hard drive crashes. The utility is on a hidden partition on your HP Mini, so no disks are needed.
