How to Restore Windows 7 on a Panasonic Toughbook
Restoring your Windows 7 Panasonic Toughbook to its original factory settings is a great way to clean off your machine and start from scratch. The restore process will remove viruses which may be slowing your machine down as well as old system files associated with programs you no longer use. It's also a good idea to restore your Windows 7 Panasonic Toughbook to its original factory settings before selling it or handing it down to a friend or relative.
Restart your Windows 7 Panasonic Toughbook.
Press the "F2" or "Del" key when the Panasonic logo appears on the screen during the boot process.
Press "F9" when the Setup Utility program opens, then select "Yes" and press "Enter."
Press "F10," then select "Yes" and press "Enter" to restart the computer.
Press "F2" or "Del" when the Panasonic logo appears to open the Setup Utility program.
Insert the Windows 7 Panasonic Toughbook product recovery DVD that came with the notebook into the DVD-ROM drive.
Highlight the "Exit" menu with the arrow keys, then highlight "Boot Override." Choose "UJDA760 DVD/CDRW," then highlight and click "Enter" to restart your computer.
Select "Reinstall Windows," then click "Next."
Select "Yes, I agree to the provisions above and wish to continue!" when you arrive at the license agreement, then click "Next."
Select "Reinstall Windows to the whole Hard Disk to factory default," then click "Next."
Click "Yes" to confirm that you want to restore your Windows 7 Panasonic Toughbook hard drive to its original factory settings. The restoration process will begin, and will take between 30 and 60 minutes, depending on the size of the hard drive and how much information is stored on it.
Remove the product recovery DVD from your Panasonic Toughbook and click "OK" to power down your laptop.

Tips & Warnings
- Restoring your Windows 7 Panasonic Toughbook to its original factory settings will erase all of your personal data and non-factory installed programs on your hard drive. Backup all of your personal data on either CDs, DVDs, an external hard drive or another storage device.
