Accidentally erasing a voice mail message has happened to the best of us. Whether you were in a rush or you accidentally pressed the wrong key, you may find yourself deleting a message that you actually need. Fortunately, with the advancements of voice mail technology, many cell phone voice mail systems allow customers to retrieve previously deleted messages by accessing a special "deleted voice mail box."
Access your voice mail from your cell phone. Follow the prompts to listen to your voice mail messages.
Navigate through the system until you find a message that you want to delete.
Press the number on your phone that corresponds with the option to delete that particular message from your voice mail box. Do not hang up. Once you hang up, you have to re-enter the system and delete another message to get to the deleted message box.
Wait for your voice mail box to start over. Listen for the option to "check previously deleted messages." Press the number on your phone that corresponds with that option.
