How to Retweet Followed Tweets to Facebook

By Michael Batton Kaput

The social networking site Twitter makes it possible to follow the real-time updates of your friends, family and even celebrities and notable figures. Once you follow someone on Twitter, not only can you view their tweets, you can also publish them on your own Twitter profile by retweeting them. You can take retweeting one step further by broadcasting your favorite tweets from your followers on your Facebook profile. To do so, you'll have to link your Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Step 1

Navigate to the Facebook homepage and log in to your account.

Step 2

Type "Twitter" in the search box at the top of the screen. Click on "Twitter App" in the drop-down menu.

Step 3

Click "Go To App" on the next page to install the Twitter app to your Facebook profile. Return to the Facebook homepage.

Step 4

Click on "Twitter" in the column under your profile picture. Click "Sign In With Twitter" on the page that appears. Click "Allow" when prompted to link your Twitter and Facebook profiles.

Step 5

Check the box next to "Facebook Profile" under the heading labeled "App Permissions."

Step 6

Navigate to the Twitter homepage and log in to your account. Locate the tweet you wish to retweet.

Step 7

Click "Retweet" under the tweet you wish to retweet. You will retweet the tweet on your Twitter profile and this retweet will be published on your Facebook profile as well.
