How to Rotate Clips in iMovie
Apple's iMovie application is the video-editing component of the iLife application suite. The software allows beginners and experts to use digital video footage to create professional movies featuring special effects. You can also edit your audio from within the application to make the perfect soundtrack for your movie. With iMovie's one-step effects, you are able to rotate your photo clips and video clips in a matter of a few clicks.
Click the "Project Library" button located in the upper left corner of the "Project" window and select the project with the clip that needs rotation.
Choose the clip you want to rotate from the "Project" window.
Press the "C" key or click the "Crop" button located in the upper left corner of the clip.
Click the left rotation-arrow button found at the top of the viewer in the center to turn the clip to the left 90 degrees. Click the right rotation-arrow button to turn the clip to the right 90 degrees.
Click the "Play" button located next to the "Done" button in the upper right corner of the viewer window to preview the rotated clip.
Click the "Done" button to save the rotation effect to the clip.
