How to See Ink Levels

By John Jackman

Running out of ink in the middle of printing an important report or assignment is incredibly frustrating. Avoid doing so by checking the ink levels of your printer cartridge regularly. The method for seeing estimated ink levels varies depending on the brand of printer. No method takes more than a few clicks but will give you peace of mind for future printing projects. Invest in a new printer cartridge as soon as the estimated ink level of your cartridge nears zero.

Tips & Warnings

  • Look at the pages coming out of your printer. If the print becomes faded and has faint lines running through the text, you need to invest in a new cartridge.
