How to Send a Wireless Cable Signal From TV to TV

By Carter McBride

If you have a cable connection in one room but do not have a cable connection in another room, you can connect one television to cable using a wireless connection. In order to perform this task, you need a wireless cable television extender. Once connected, the cable will go to both televisions. In addition, you can change the channel and view different channels on the televisions using a wireless cable television extender. The picture quality may decrease using wireless technology.

Things You'll Need

  • 3 coaxial cables
  • Wireless cable TV extender
  • Cable splitter

Step 1

Connect a coaxial cable into your wall's cable connection.

Step 2

Connect the other end of the coaxial cable into a cable splitter. Be sure to screw the cable into the "In" jack on the cable splitter.

Step 3

Connect another coaxial cable from one of the "Out" jacks on the cable splitter to the coaxial cable "In" jack on your television.

Step 4

Connect another coaxial cable from the other "Out" jack on the cable splitter to the cable television extender's signal sender.

Step 5

Connect the wireless cable television extender's receiver to the coaxial jack on the television you want to receive the wireless cable signal.

Step 6

Turn on both televisions and the wireless cable television extenders to check that they are working properly.
