Apple's iPhone smartphone device lets you receive SMS and MMS messages from other cel phone users. These messages appear in the phone's "Messages" application. Unlike on other cellphones, where each SMS or MMS appears as an individual message, the iPhone displays all of the messages from a person in the form of a chat session, making it difficult to send individual text messages to other people if you don't know how. Apple did include this feature, however, letting you send iPhone texts to other people in a few simple steps.
