How to Send Picture Messages With an iPhone
AT&T brought Multimedia Messaging Service to U.S. iPhone users in 2009. Before then, iPhone customers could not send MMS texts, and they could only view picture messages they received using the iPhone's Safari Web browser. Now that the iPhone can send and receive picture messages, you can use your iPhone's camera to take advantage of the service.
Press the "Home" button, then unlock your iPhone.
Tap the "Messages" icon. The icon is green and has a white speech bubble on it.
Select the contact you want to message.
Tap the small camera icon next to the text field. A prompt will appear.
Select "Take Photo" if you want to take a photo to send. Select "Choose Existing" to enter your photo album and select a picture.
Press the blue "Send" button when you return to the compose text page to send the picture.
