How to Send Video Clips Through Yahoo! Mail
Yahoo!'s various services help you stay in contact with your friends in a multitude of ways; Yahoo! Mail lets you stay in touch via the written word, and Yahoo! Messenger lets you chat, text or talk with your contacts. Of course, sometimes all the words in the world can't describe the hilarity of the humorous video you've just watched. For just those times, Yahoo! Mail lets you send video clips to your friends via email as an attachment.
Things You'll Need
- Yahoo! ID
Save the video clip to your hard drive if you haven't already.
Navigate to the Yahoo! Mail website (mail.yahoo.com).
Log in with your Yahoo! ID and password, if you aren't signed in automatically.
Click "New" at the top of the options pane at the left side of the screen, then click "Email Message." A "New Message" tab opens with a blank email template.
Click "Attach" at the top of the tab, next to the "Send" button.
Download and install the Yahoo! Easy Upload tool if you haven't attached a file to an outgoing email or downloaded it for another Yahoo! service before. Yahoo! prompts you to do so, if necessary, as soon as you click "Attach."
Locate the video clip on your hard drive in the dialog box that opens. The maximum attachment size allowed by Yahoo! Mail is 25 MB -- the video clip must be smaller than that. The file size of multiple video clips can't surpass 25 MB total.
Click on the video clip, then click "Open." The file uploads into the email at the bottom of the message.
Compose and send your email normally. The recipient will receive the video clip as an attachment to the email.
