How to Set Comcast As My Homepage

By Mike Benson

Many Internet service providers supply a hub for their subscribers to access resources catered toward them. Due to the resources and quick access to personalized content, some customers decide to use this hub as their browser's homepage. If you are a Comcast subscriber, you too have this option. You can set up your browser to automatically load the Comcast page at startup within your browser options window.

Step 1

Open Internet Explorer and delete the current homepage address from the address bar. Type"www.Comcast.net" into the address bar and press the "Enter" key.

Step 2

Click the "Sign In" link. Type your Comcast ID and password then click the "Sign In" button. Click the "Yes" button, when asked if you want Internet Explorer to remember this password. This takes you back to the homepage with elements now relating to your locale and account.

Step 3

Click "Tools" and click "Internet Options." This opens an Internet Options dialog on your screen.

Step 4

Click the "Use Current" button and then click the "Apply" button at the bottom. From now on, when you open your browser, the Comcast homepage will load and you will automatically sign in to your account.
