How to Set the Home Page in Windows Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer is a browser made by Microsoft. It allows you to set your home page, the page that opens when you start your browser, to your favorite web page or the home page of your favorite website. You can also set it to a site that you go to frequently such as the login page to your email account. It takes about one minute to set your home page.

Step 1

Open Internet Explorer. Go to the web page that you want as your home page.

Step 2

Click "Tools" in the main menu bar. Click "Internet Options" in the list of options underneath "Tools."

Step 3

Click the "General" tab. Click the "Use Current" button. Click the "OK" button.

Step 4

Restart Internet Explorer.
