How to Set the Time on a JVC Car Stereo
We count on our car stereos for more than just great sound: A clock is built into nearly every car stereo, including those made by JVC, and it's an important tool to keep us on time during our daily lives. When for some reason the clock isn't working properly, your first best recourse to set the time on your radio is to look at your manual for instructions. But if that's not available, you can get the instructions for how to set the time on your specific JVC car stereo by following a simple set of steps.
Go to jvc.com on your computer's browser.
On the jvc.com homepage, look in the upper right side for a tab marked "Car A/V." Click this tab, and you'll go to the JVC mobile entertainment home page.
Click "Support" on the upper right hand corner of this page. The printing will be small, but you'll see it at the very top of the page. This will take you to the Customer Support home page.
Scroll down the main menu until you see the heading "Download," and then below it, "User Manuals." Click "User Manuals."
Enter the model number of your car stereo where prompted. If you don't know the model number, look on the faceplate of your JVC car stereo--it'll be printed there.
Click the highlighted "Instruction Manual" link on the next page. You'll need Acrobat Reader to read the manual. If your computer is not equipped with it, the website will prompt you to download it. It's safe content, and free--download it and read the manual for the instructions.
