How to Set Up an Email Account for Gmail
Gmail is Google's free, web-based email service. With built-in chat, video and text capability, Gmail has grown exponentially since its public release in 2007. Compatible with just about every browser, Gmail takes only moments to set up.
Navigate to the Google Mail website.
Look to the right of the screen when the website has loaded. You should see an area for existing users to log it. Look under the login area for a button that says "Create an account." Click it.
Fill in your name, create a login name and choose a password.
Select a security question and enter your answer. Enter your location and birthday. Type the security code. Read the Terms of Service policy located at the bottom of the page and then click "I accept. Create my account."
