The televisions are inexpensive and popular. Once you have bought an Olevia television, you will have to do a bit of setup when you get it home. Setting up your Olevia TV is extremely similar to most other TV sets.

- Coaxial cable
- Cable/satellite receiver
- RCA cable
- HDMI cables
Position your Olevia TV close to both a power outlet and a cable/satellite outlet (if you subscribe to one of those services). Plug the television into the power outlet.
Insert the coaxial cable into the "Out" port of your standard definition cable/satellite receiver. If you have an HD Olevia television and an HD cable receiver, connect an HDMI cable into an available port on the HD receiver.
Connect the other end of the coaxial cable into the "In" port on the Olevia television. If you are using the HDMI cable, connect the other end of the HDMI cable into an available HDMI port on the TV.
Plug RCA cables into the "Out" port of a DVD or VHS player. If you have a Blu-Ray player and an HD Olevia television, plug the HDMI cable into the HDMI port of the player. Insert the other end of the standard definition cable into the "Video In" port on the television. If you're using the HDMI cable, insert the cable into an available HDMI port.
Connect the Olevia TV to your stereo system or surround sound if you want better audio. Connect the red and white cables of an RCA cable to the "Out" port of the television. Plug the other end of the RCA cable to the "In" port on your audio system.
