How to Solve My Acer Laptop Speaker Problems
Acer laptops run on the Windows operating system. They also have built-in speakers that have a menu to change the settings. All laptop speakers have a driver that tells the speaker how to function. If the driver gets damaged or deleted, the speakers are rendered unusable. Acer speaker problems usually have a driver issue that can be solved by the user.
Update Speaker Drivers
Go to "Start," "Control Panel," "System and Security (or System and Maintenance)," "System," then "Device Manager."
Type in the Administrator password, if you are prompted to do so.
Click on "Sound, Video and Game Controllers."
Right-click the name of your Acer speakers and select "Update Driver Software."
Click on "Search Automatically for Updated Driver Software" and allow the computer to download any updates.
Reboot your Acer laptop.
Raise Speaker Sound Levels
